Redskins coach was theft victim at Heinz Field

The Washington Redskins say coach Mike Shanahan had money and a passport stolen from the locker room during the road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last month.

Redskins director of security Ed Burke released a statement Thursday:

"Mike Shanahan did have money and a passport stolen out of his locker room in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Police insisted on filing a police report because of the missing passport.

"There is an ongoing investigation. The missing property was not stowed in another bag as reported."

The Redskins lost 27-12 to the Steelers on Oct. 28.
