Meet Hero
Hero is a 5-year-old Japanese Chin available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
Hero is a lovable dog that enjoys tons of cuddles and above anything the loves being a lapdog! He is a fairly calm and quiet pooch that would make a perfect companion for an elderly person or for any home!
Hero was found as a stray and picked up by a local animal control, unfortunately his owners never came back to claim him but Hero is now recovered from that experience and enjoying his time at his foster home as he awaits a second chance at a forever home.
Hero is fully housebroken and just got his teeth cleaned so he is ready to go to a loving home. If you would like to meet Hero and our other adoptable dogs stop by the Kirkwood Petco this weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or check out the St. Louis Senior Dog Project website.
Meet Gloria
Gloria is a beautiful 8-year-old yorkie (48 years old in human years). She is a friendly, happy and affectionate dog that is looking for a forever home. ?She loves her people but other dogs, not so much. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog and can have all the love and attention. She is potty trained and loves to sleep snuggled up next to her person all night.?
Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St. Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.?
We are at the Kirkwood Petco every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This store is located on Lindbergh just north of I-44. Turn left at the first major stoplight. For more information, visit the Senior Dogs 4 Seniors website.
